Collection of SIRIM Label (Stickers) for iPhone 4S

For all MY iPhone 4S buyers from 12th March to 20th March, I yesterday received your SIRIM Label from our government. It is advised that you affix the label to your iPhone 4S.
Here's what the note that comes with the SIRIM labels says:

"This SIRIM label is provided to you with the assurance that the product meets the quality requirements of the specified standard of specification, and that the product is a genuine Apple product supplied to you directly from manufacturer.
Please find enclosed the SIRIM label that has been issued for your Apple product(s) :
IPHONE A1387
Please kindly affix the label to your product or your warranty card accordingly.
Thank You."

I've already called most of you to collect and some already did. But for others who haven't, which is still quite a few as you can see from my picture, please don't hesitate to call and arrange for collection.
Anyway, I've already checked with my friends, its OK if you don't affix it anyway. At least it won't effect your warranty status or anything. But if you want it, CALL me.

By the way, I'm not a lousy shoot! The picture was blurred intentionally since all the labels have unique serial numbers.

You Can Download Windows 8 Here Now

In case you haven't heard. Microsoft are rolling out Beta Windows 8.
If you haven't download Windows 8 public preview yet, you can do so here.

Windows 8 is the upcoming version of Microsoft OS that replaces Windows 7.
From the preview, its incredibly simple in the Metro-style interface. Felt like it was designed with ease of use and a little of touchscreen interface and handphone in mind.

With interface like this, touchscreen and handphones would quite easily navigate it. Hence the first thing that comes into mind is.. Tablet. Is that the direction Windows is heading or simply 1 OS that works with all peripherals.

Whatever it is, its exciting stuff we have here. Do download the Public preview to give it a spin. The tutorials will make you feel ease of use pretty soon.

Hooked on DrawSomething drawing game for iPhone and Android

Draw Something can be a serious Game!

I can't help it but I'm basically Hooked! This is one addictive game you should avoid if you have something important you need to attend to! Seriously!

I have been playing with this game the past few days with many people friends and other random players from all over the world.

The idea of the game is simple. Choose from one of 3 words provided, can be from famous singers to country name to movie title. Draw them, and hope your friend guess it right. After that, its your friend's turn to draw and you guess. If correct, you'll get points that can later be used to buy colors or bombs. Colors allow you to express your drawings better while bombs allow you to have more choices of words and so on.

Its a really addictive game available for both iPhone and Android phones. Personal experience is, its easier to draw with Android phones that have stylus and drawing with fingers in iPhone can be tough.

iPad 2 at Discounted Price following iPad 3 New Launch

Following yesterday's announcement of New iPad (I still prefer to call it iPad 3) running on A5X processing chip featuring Quad Core graphics with super high-res screen (that's a whopping 2048x1536 resolution) and have more pixels then a 50 inch HDTV!  5 megapixel back camera with 1080p high definition video shoot capability.

Apple have slashed price of the current iPad 2 worldwide to make way for the iPad 3 due to launch in 16th March (8 more days) in selected countries including United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia. 


So here's the new price for iPad 2 as of today only available in Apple website:

Mountain Lion 10.8 Beta Pretty Problematic

OS X Mountain Lion Beta, in short is pretty and not too much different from Lion. With over 100 new features, its quite awesome. Some would say it felt more like iPad or iPhone, I would say, more intuitive.

My experience with it so far is quite love and hate situation. Many software crashes. Many little additions that you'd love too.

The good part, New Features :

• Game Center to the Mac
• Notification Center
• Share Sheets
• Twitter integration
• AirPlay Mirroring
• Built with iCloud
• Integration with Apps
• Gatekeeper
• iChat
• and more

The bad part, for now and many due to incompatibility with older apps:

• Wifi and Bluetooth intermittently crashes
• Time Capsules can't back up properly with correct time and date
• Many software crashes including but not limited to Safari, Skype, VMWare and Words
• Take over 1 minute to fully turn On from Off if you're using SATA hd

So far, here's some of what I've already submitted to Apple.

I'm pretty satisfied with Mountain Lion. Can't wait to get my hand on the full release cum August 2012.
