OSX 10.6.8 and Thunderbolt

According to one set of benchmark, OSX 10.6.8 appears to significantly improve graphic performance as compared to its predecessor OSX 10.6.7. And test suggest all go on updating to this latest update.

Also, if you're using a Mac that uses SSD hard drive, you're in luck. This new update also boast  support for TRIM that according to Apple, is a feature that allows SSDs to automatically handle garbage data collection, this ability is important as without, garbage data collection overtime can significantly slows down your SSD.

Finally, Thunderbolt port that's been sitting at the side of your latest Apple, well apple has unveiled recently a Promise Pegasus RAID system that utilizes the Thunderbolt. Awesome stuff considering the data transfer speed for conventional USB or FireWire 800 are nowhere near the maximum of 800 MB/sec transfer rate.

Been busy, will try to update more.
=)

Cheers. Have a nice day.
